A Journey Through The Water eTwinning project
About the project
Students 8 to 15 years old will present a lake, or river, or sea of their country.
They will create an Art Gallery about "Water and Art", an e-book on "Water and Music", a presentation of legends about "Water through Time".
Finally, they will create a map with videos of their visit at a beautiful place by the sea, or river, or lake of their country: the young tour guides will present the place using short sentences in English. They also will create a brochure for the place which they visited by using Canva.
Students will improve their language skills
They will develop their ITC skills
They will know better the place where they live
They will know different lakes, rivers, seas
They will get used to comparing different places
They will learn to collaborate with foreign students
Each partner will be responsible for the common work. We will keep in touch in the Twinspace, Facebook, Whatsapp, Twinmail.
Calendar:
September- October: school and students' presentation, logo contest.
November- December: "Water in Art" and " Water in Music" ( common Art Gallery of drawings inspired by our lake, river, sea. Common ebook with a song about water in our own language and students' drawings on the song).
January-February: " Water through the Time" ( a legend about our river, lake or sea).
March-May: "Diary of Journey" (students write short sentences in English about a place of their lake, river, or sea. They learn the sentences and say them while visiting the place. Finally we make a video of the visit and upload it to a common Google map "A Journey through the water").
Our outcomes will be an Art Gallery about "Water and Art", an e-book on "Water and Music", a presentation of legends about "Water through the Time".
